Is it possible to buy these new and if so where from? Bought some Corse style rearsets off this site a few weeks ago and rather than take the originals to pieces thought it better just to buy some new rose joints and fit it all together from there. I have the rod and gear lever but need the rose joints.
Don't know about Ducati ones but generic ones are available on ebay if you have the thread sizes and male/female combination. Not expensive either. Atb

They were for a 1098R. They looked the same as my 916SPS and 749R ones. These ones M12 x 1.25mm Right Hand Male - High Performance Rod End One right hand, one left hand. Ordered on a Monday afternoon, delivered next day. You will need to double check the 916 size but they appeared to be very similar.
Looks like they are a 1mm thread and take an M6 bolt on the 748. Since they only do one l/h and one r/h in that size that must be the one.
Rose joints come in different grades and strengths for different applications, so prices span a wide range. Do you want high quality aircraft/racing grade? Or cheapo?
The best value, Pete. Just ordered some from Ricky's link but thanks for your info. I will see how i get on with these. I don't think the originals are anything special quality wise.
Did the same thing last year, bougth new off ebay, 1 lefty and 1 standard. Cant remember where but they were about £10 each i think. Dont forget you need a left hand nut at one end too.
Fitted them today. I did realise i needed a left hand threaded nut but only once i received the joints and tried them on the linkage. Fortunately they arrived very quickly.
