  1. Did you decide that your clutch is a slipper ? Andy

  2. Hi Andy
No not taken plates out yet, was looking at getting a coloured plate and springs and then look and fit at the same time.

  3. The pressure plates for the standard and slipper are different. You really need to do some checking first. Andy

  4. Thanks for that i will check first and take a few photos,

  5. Had a look today and its a standard pressure plate,

  6. Same bloke on ebay from your link does a tarty red pressure plate for the standard clutch. Andy

  7. Going to go for red with carbon open cover, will check for sale section for a few days and see if anything turns up first, once I've got all the bits and pieces then i will take all plates out and have a clean up, bikes getting there now :upyeah:

  8. Just a suggestion, the red anodised plates go a manky pinky colour over time. I was going to do it that way but in the end, just cleaned up and painted the std pressure plate black then added some Oberon red collets and new springs. Looks decent enough and saved a few quid doing it that way.
The black pressure plate doesn't show the dust either.

  9. Others have suggested CF are not good covers as offer the clutch no protection if the right side hits the deck.

  10. Yes, that's advice I took and ended up with heavy gauge black anodised aluminium.

  11. Thats not a bad idea, do you have a photo, i could paint it red :) and will take a look at metal covers.

  12. Sorry, best photo I have of it. But you can just make out a bit of red. :) If you look hard enough...
