Pondering a few items for my bike & hoping some of you can offer me advice. What frame sliders have people used on their DVT-2015s? Been looking at the r&g racing currently & I only specify the dvt-2015 to make sure that they fit. But if other brands are universal fire them at me please. Powered fuse panels have been of interest also, from TPS-15 & PDM60. However the more simple Denali-powerhub2 is my bag & the fuses can be located in two ways for always on or with ignition power-up. Anyone had one of these & found it a little flimsy? Air-horn; what have you added to your bike please. I'm not out to sound like a freight train but on the odd occasion I'd use my horn. I want a sharp jolt of raised awareness from people around me. Indicator LED bulbs; (review site webBikeWorld ) discovered that inertialed.com did some ultra bright jobbies that work with can-bus bikes. I hate that modern bikes come with bulbs instead of diodes. Ordered navihalter (navigating navihalter.de was an arse/please any german members contact the owner requesting a translated version option) mount & locking bracket. Super fast delivery & just waiting on the Garmin zūmo 595LM to be launched. Abba skylift & a few other abba bits-n-bobs are on hold till next-week when the foot-pedal kit becomes available (grabs pipe & slippers from ukgser). Much gorping will be taking place with guinness at hand! There was someone on the waterfront rideout who has a rear shock tube cover, would love to know what brands people have gone for. jh1986 mentioned adding front fork seal covers this past week so some have been ordered from kriega. Finally I'm adding some extra turn signals; Amber LED arrays alongside two lunasee wheel-kits for maximum night time visibility. Got a racing exhaust on order & will be zircotec coating it before adding it after the first service. Have i missed anything? The Panigale LED rear indicators [53010282A & 53010292A] are a simple install and they are a bit smaller than the original parts. You might also want to consider radiator and oil cooler guards. If you go for the Enduro Accessory Pack you'll get the Touratech radiator guard. Don't for a screen protector!
Same indicators as I have on mine, bright and smaller than original. Air horns... There can be only one, the Stebel Nautilus... I had one on my first big bike and when I used it people were looking round for lorry's, they couldn't believe a bike made that noise. And when I traded it in I told the sales guy that the horn button was a bit sticky and needed a good press :Hilarious:
Steveb123 I've gone for all the packages bar the sports one now. Got some screen protectors coming to be chopped down for the dash display. My bike is going to be a daily work horse so the dramatic effects of british weather & exposure too plenty of miles will be available for all too see over the coming years. I won't be holding back on criticism or affectionate remarks. Phil748, did the same bulb fit into the 1199 indicators? They look much sleeker *rubs chin*
They are complete units, £57 for both, ready to plug straight in, no issues. A bulb in the old indicators wouldn't really work so well because really the LEDs need to be facing flat if that makes any sense (so they output there light in the correct direction)
