@Chris might know, and if not could someone show me in the right direction for the standard settings for the front Showa forks, on a 2001 bi posto, bikes been off the road for a while, and the forks had been set for previous owner, who was around same weight and height, but it was set for track, and is low on the front and hard as nails. I want to get it back on the road at some point, and this is one of the areas I want to strip and service, for road use. my fillings fell out last time I rode it lol. :anguished:
The standard settings are detailed in the owner's handbook. If you do not have it I am sure someone on here will. Andy
Can I go back to sleep now? :smileys: Are you going to keep yours Martin? I think mine is going to go this year.
Yep I'm keeping mine for a bit longer, it doesn't owe me anything, if your flogging yours can I have 1st dabs on the mono seat :tonguewink:
Apologies, I thought you said you had the manual somewhere, so I assumed you had the manual somewhere.
I find mine as hard as nails even on the std settings. Any one got any recommendations for a fast road set up weight about 80kg ?
Crikey mine was set for trAck by previous owner who was 15 stone 95 kg and it rattled my teeth on road, we've gone back to road settings as standard and will then check sag etc, everyone's individual with settings so find a good dealer who can do suspension, where r u near ?
