Turns out the reason my bits have not turned up is my last 4 eBay orders have gone to my lat address that i moved from 3 years ago. Why eBay defaulted back to that after the amount of stuff that came to my new address I have no idea. Looks like i'll be introducing myself.
I've been catching up with stuff as I've been away on business for the past 2 days. But I've just had a call from SWMBO telling me #2 son's wife who's not been feeling well all week, has just been taken into hospital. We think it's just precautionary but we're not entirely sure yet
Not good. Loads of really nasty stuff around at the moment, viral infections and things, know a few people who have been bed ridden for a week or 2. Hope he turns out OK.
Finally put my prototype (alternative finishes) light units together. Particularly like chrome, black chrome and polished brass. [emoji41] made by idiot (me) in England, too.
Pruned wild hedge. Pruned sage. Tidied up garden a bit. Seems to have taken all afternoon. Knackered.
Just put a new rear disc on the FZR (original had quite a few cracks [emoji50]) indulged in some nice new titanium bolts to go with it, and glad I did - one of the originals rounded off quite badly.
just made up a quote up for a fella. all the way through he was slagging the other local garages. every time he opened his mouth another percentage was getting added to his quote. do your self a favor. don't try and play one tradesman off against another. dick.
Garden done, including tree/bush down. Trampoline up. Off for a ride, might try to find Bedford Aerodrome.
Waved Carole off on a TVAM ride and got in the garage to refit the crud catcher to the Multistrada. What a faf that turned out to be, poxy M5x0.8 threads in the swing arm. Got away with using a longer bolt in one and had to run a tap down two more. The carbon swing arm cover wasn't covering any nasties so it got a clean and all screwed back together. Never did like the look of the crud catcher but anything to keep the crap off the back of the bike and my jacket. Andy
3 hour ride [emoji106] . Need a slower bike for the highway. Not sure the 999 will fit that criteria though....
Spent the morning on the roof stopping the leak through the light fitting upstairs.Better afternoon on Dartmoor with the dogs.
I've been out most of the day with Dangerous Jim. I've done about 170 plus miles. Which was nice Tonight me and SWMBO are off out to see The Blockheads
1. Went b&q to get a water filter. 2. Did some gardening (helped the other half) 3. Washed 2 cars inside and out. 4. Finished wiring the upgraded stator to the supermoto 5. Converted some more old vhs tapes to dvd.....found an old tape from the early nineties of club racing at RAF Hullavington! Quite the productive one today!
