I need to regear, dangit. Bike draws too much attention from ticket writers. Always when I'm just cruising along just a little over the limit at the point where the engine smooths out and even no body on the road and I get stopped. WTH! UGH. Maybe if I regear lower it'll smooth out sooner.
Good luck with that: gearing down does help with smooth running in a higher gear for limits. But... ...you'll have the restraint of a saint to then not go ballistic with every twist of the throttle.
