Just had the remap done by Nelly at Cornerspeed, as well as my 7500 mile service. Great job, tea and cake thrown in! I have the 2013 twin spark model and the Rexxer makes a difference. Subtle but really smooths it out and wiring open the exhaust valve helps. Highly recomended. Dave
Hi Dave did you change the exhaust as well ? How much approx, these guys are closer to me than CJS. So thinking of a visit.
Agreed. The Rexxer remap also works well on the Diavel. Smoother running at low speeds, and response when making progress is excellent. Another highly recommended.
Hi, no I didn't. I thought long and hard about removing the Cat and changing pipes, but didn't want that much noise or cost. The rexxer remap really smoothes out the lower third of the rev range, combined with removing the O2 sensors and wiring open the exhaust valve. This stops that over lean snatch on the throttle and gives the exhaust a slightly deeper burble. It was the best solution for me, Nelly is the man at Cornerspeed. The remap and all of the above is around £200. Highly recommended. Dave
Good stuff, any problems with warning lights after the remap ? Or any issues with the service light not being switched off by the dealer after a service ? This seems to be a bit of a problem after a remap.
Hi Gab. The error switches for the exhaust valve and O2 sensors are disabled in the software. The O2 sensors are unplugged and could be removed if you wanted. The exhaust valve cable is unhooked and the valve wired open. Again, the motor and cable can be removed if you so wanted. No error lights or problems with service resets etc. The tune is 230 inc. vat. I can do a ride in ride out or by post to save you the journey.
