  1. Right my Air Filter kit come in from the US today ... Two alley 100 mm trumpets 2 K&N filters 2 breather filters and a fitting kit.
I got a full MMIV system inc ECU and the underseat gubbins to replace the centre exhaust and number plate assembly. Need to phone BSD for a base dyno run then will take it back for mapping

  5. Motowheels. com
Course Dynamics Performance Air Filter Kit.

  6. Ah - right - I have seen them before....I did have an air filter kit on my last Hyper (someone on here sold me a second hand kit for 150 quid) and just for the record it did make a difference but only once it had been back on the dyno so you should enjoy it!! ive just bought a K&N replacement filter for mine as the one that was in there was an aftermarket paper one which was knackered anyway. We're going to the US next year on holiday so I might wait til then and then get it sent to where we're staying...a bit cheaper then...

  7. Would be nice to see 6-8hp gain with the exhaust system and filter kit .... im not after top end just oodles of bottom and mid range grunt plus the noise :grinning:

  8. Yep... And thats what you get...!

  10. Had some Ducshop velocity stacks (plus K&Ns) on my 2008 1100s, used in conjunction with PCV/Autotune and Zard headers/twin Termis. Unfortunately the stacks had to come off when I fitted a long range tank for a jaunt to Morocco but now I've got a proper touring bike as well the plan is to remove the big tank from the Hyper and go back to the stacks. Looking forward to that induction roar...

  11. Doh - didn't want to sell them then??

  12. Sorry, no can do - I need to feel that induction noise again!
The only thing I will def. be selling is the Chris Kelly big tank (bloody useful bit of kit, easily doubles the tank range). And maybe the Termis too at some point as I'd like to fit a single silencer. SC Project has always been my favourite - I'm liking your double sided system.
In any event I'm going to need some funds soon thanks to your recent posts - I've just signed up for a Roadlok for the Multi. But I still can't bring myself to sell those stacks!

  13. Well, it was worth a try - ive just fitted a K&N and drilled the top of the airbox but id always prefer stacks as my last on had them....Roadlok's - yep - theyre brilliant you only carry the pin around with you which is perfect - less to carry when you've got a full set of leathers on! seeing as ive already got the 2 bikes with them fitted ive got a pin in my leather jacket and one in my leathers so it effectively means you never forget your lock...

Yep - the sc project is nice...but nothing else will fit back on there so, youre committed as it were as the tailpiece I think comes with the pipes and the bike never came with the original side panels...not that that bothers me as I'm happy with the look of it...having said that it is fucking loud as it stands....

It doesn't look much different to the day I picked it up but I reckon ive sunk about 400 quid or so into it so far...but, that's bikes for you...!

  14. It's only money. You'd only waste it on food and bills otherwise...

  15. I'm not even going to mention the size of my overdraft....well into 5 figures...

  16. Well I took the Hypermotard over to BSD just the other side of Peterborough yesterday for a stock dyno run with a fuelling curve.
Owe its so much fun pissing the BMW and Merc reps off in the overtaking stakes ... call it childish i call it fun hey im only 47 :grimacing:

Anyway she was strapped down and after a few runs it was done ... Mark got off the bike and said that could not be any worse :disappointed: The fuelling is very lean and all over the place until 8k yea right so when do u use this day to day there all about short shifting ...

In the end we got 84.4hp and 70.58 ft Mark said just with the fuelling sorted it would be loads better but you cant really notice the leanness it on the road like you can with carbs.

So now im going to change over to the full MIVV system and the Air filter kit i got from the US with the 100mm bellmounths trumpets and open K&N filters . Im also going to put on the ECU that the exhaust was running with apparently this has been moddied to suit. Mark said if it was a "Ducati" performance ECU put it on Ebay and flog it and use the standard as the Ducati map is 9/10 crap anyway.

So let the tinkering continue when its all on its back over to BSD for some more dyno time , Mark recons all Ducati's need the fuelling playing with as they as super lean from the factory :tonguewink:

  18. :confused:In the end it will give what it will give as long as its right fuelling wise and as noisy as possible im happy its fast enough for me its all about the bottom and midrange for me .... owe and the roll on wheelies from 2nd to 4th :tonguewink:
