996 Monster Starting Issues

  1. Help needed -

    Riding along the other day and the monster suddenly cut out..as if the kill switch had been pressed.

    Got a spark and fuel going in, starters spinning, sprag engaging etc..any ideas what it maybe?

    Any help much appreciated.

  6. Cps Crank position sensor, tps throttle position sensor.

  8. Check the connection to the regulator under the seat. Mine died suddenly a few years ago & there was corrosion & poor connectivity in the plastic connector.

  10. Cheers fellas, ended up being a loose fuel hose in in the tank.
