  1. Looking to get back into the seat... if anyone has a clean and original low mile, low keeper 748 then do get in touch....

  2. There is one currently on eBay. Looks to be one of the last registered in the UK. I have no connection with the seller, just not at work today and have been surf in' t'internet. Andy

  3. is that the senna one? ive been in contact with the vendor... its a punchy price and hes only had it a few weeks???

  4. the other one up for 4.5 has had more owners than i would like but otherwise 'looks' very clean

  5. No, it is a red one. I'll try and find a link. Andy

  6. No, hadn't seen that one but looks good and a good price. Andy

  7. Changed my mind, that late I would not expect 3 spoke Bembos. As a run out I'd have thought it would be 5 spoke Machesinis but I could be wrong. Andy

  8. yep i thought that weird too..

  9. I stand to be corrected but i don't think the base 'E' ever got 5 spoke, the S may have.

It has the right crappy non-Dzus fasteners.

  10. yep it seems that way.... just googled it. why did they spec non d zus when they introduced the changes in 2000

  11. Russ at Ducati Mondo, Halifax is finishing one off now. It's not a newer one, I think it's a 99 or similar but is probably one of the best around. Factory mint! Down to the last nut and bolt being re plated. I think it has less than 5,000 miles. Not advertised yet...

  12. Just had a chat with Russ... what a top bloke. Spent ages just chatting about the bikes and the man is a wealth of knowledge. Ive learned more from him in 30 mins that from countless hours on the interweb...

Hes got quite a fanatical attention to detail and the work he is doing on the bike is very thorough

  13. Andy, MY02 748E (base model) like that had 3 spokes in the grey colour and no Dzus fasteners, the 5 spokes and quick release Dzus fasteners and fuel lines were fitted to the MY02 S and R. Final MY02s were registered in 03 and one or two in 04 but they are still MY02s. Looks genuine to me, not sure the bike was ever specced with 103bhp unless that is a dyno output (and the engine is heavily tuned). Should be 97bhp at the crank and around 85 RWHP unless it has been properly set up.

  14. Happy to accept that I'm wrong :upyeah:. Just highlights that you need to do your research. Andy

  15. I love reading words from someone knowledgable as a lot on here are, it makes me sleepy in a proper nice way, just wish I knew something.:Grumpy:
