Had a brilliant day today.Met up with Chris and Crystal John, both on this forum.Had a bit of a ride with some teas and food along the way.More importantly though was the great company.Good day.
Some potholes have appeared in a street near me so I went on to FixMyStreet to report them to the local council. This has worked very well on previous occasions. FixMyStreet
No pressure today-I played it safe and took the Scrambler.Nice and easy to ride, good fun.My next ride might be on the rocket ship.
Possibly got myself 3 points and a £60 fine. Pulled out to pass a transit on a dual carriageway and straight into the lens of a mobile speed camera. :Snaphappy: I was in my car and think I was doing around 78. I got 3 points on the same road about 8 or 9 years ago when I was clocked at 81. Playing the waiting game. Again. :Nailbiting:
Fingers crossed for you, well, not at this minute, woke up for a poo so my hands are full at the moment :Wideyed: ead:
so far? Got up at 3am. E-mailed some photos of a project I'm wrapping up soon and contacted a bike trader about buying a Honda Fireplace in Repsol Colours.. because I want something to ride this summer. Just about to send some plans to someone.
well maybe not,, duals are 70 i believe and i regularly go throo the cams on the A90 at 78 without a prob,,, last time i got done, with mobile doing 85, the cops told me that in scotland it is unlikely to get done for less than 80,,, so dinnae fret ma loon..
Set about sorting the interior wood trim that BMW strangely consulted with ikea on my sons 3.0 Z4 Coupe! OMG - whoever in the BMW design office thought this would look good must have been tokin on some seriously fukked up weed!
Some of you carbon fibre officianados on here will understand the process better than me? Basically they remove the ikea wood dashboard and gearbox console surround and flat it with a Scottish pad to give the wrap something to key onto. Then the carbon effect film is floated on top of a tank of fluid (water I presume?) and the parts you want coated are lowered onto the film.Finish is fantastic, available in a massive assortment of colours and finishes and a far superior job (I'm told) to just carbon body wrap? Has anyone had this process carried out? Any comments on finished look etc? Please let me know.Ive found this firm in Poole,Dorset who look a pro outfit
Put a deposit down on a Honda Fireblade and got my deposit it back again. Received one of my carbon items & have ordered the airbox from a company in Australia, they have the quickest turn around (fingers crossed). I will probably get taxed to death at customs but hopefully it won't be delayed that long. I might be able to get my bike back on the road and take it for a ride before the sausage meet.
A few tweaks and getting on with the black & red look.... Windscreen bolts, fuel cap, caliper bolts, fork bolts, fairing bolts......... ........oh, and a Tail Tidy :Smug: More to come!! Should be done and be ready for my first ride of 2016 in a week or 2 :Nailbiting: ..........and the ROSSO 3'S will get there first write up.....yeh-hey!!
