@Pierre 66, all the very best for the future and I hope your new job provides for you and yours for the long term. Andy
Packed bags as time to head home to UK and a yet "unseen" Streetfighter........I mean the kids and wife first. cough cough
Well done Pierre, I went through the redundancy thing a few years back and think it was the most stressful time I've ever experienced, even though I had it easy. Good on ya and glad you're enjoyg the new job !
I took the bike over to SMC to have the fuel sensor replaced then had a ride over to Cadwell Park where some friends were doing a track day, while I was there one asked me if I had fully comp insurance, naturally I do with the Multi being on finance. Then he tossed me the key to his "Beast" and said to take it up the road and back to see what I thought since he couldn't use it on track (107 db cold, 113 hot) It's fast, very fast and I was being careful with it. It was just insane for me, even he says it's just itching to shred his license.
I'm not even interested in it but I thought I'd watch it just to see them loose (us)... I got press ganged into the sweepstake at work and pulled out France.... So I've got a good chance of being 35 quid up at the moment! That'll buy me some ti.... Sent from my SM-P900 using Tapatalk
Added a bit more black tonight..... getting there...... more race bolt to come.... oh and a little something from across the water, all that for 20mm higher clip-ons!!!
Today started well as I bought tickets to see Tom Jones at Castle Howard on 16th July. Then this afternoon I got a call from SWMBO to say #1 son was in hospital after an innocuous accident yesterday at his home. Thankfully after X-Ray's and a MRI scan they've declared the neck injury not too bad and he should be ok in a week or so. Got home to watch Italy thump Spain but I've now just had to endure a shameful performance by England. They were clueless On the plus side Italy now have my 100% support
Travel 4+ hours on a train to collect my Fireblade and rode it back, 175+ miles (approximately) 3 hours... raining all the way. Needs a good clean now.
Went out for a curry in Edinburgh. In pub after I had to leg it to the toilet as got an attack of squirty bot. My tum isn't in good shape and my train has been cancelled. I have to hang around waiting for a replacement bus service. Train usually takes about an hour. This is going to be a long bus journey and I have an awful feeling I won't suffer alone. :Wideyed:
Re-heated rice Wally ? One of the most dangerous things around... toxin caused by bacteria is not affected by heat and has most unpleasant effects very soon after eating. Hope things are better today.
Thanks. Rough night but whatever it was seems to have cleared my system. It was a tense bus ride home but without incident.
Decided to get off my boney arse and go for a 5 mile walk in Windsor great park! Foxes, rabbits,Red kites and a huge herd of Red Deer - absolutely stunning and you would never guess all this was available right under the Heathrow flight path?
