For Sale Load Of 749 Bits...

Discussion in 'Parts, Accessories & Clothing For Sale' started by Fire3500, Jun 29, 2016.

  1. OK, loads of 749 clutter in the garage... want rid all cheap.

Mivv X-Cone exhaust... it's comedy... sounds ace and looks like a bad dream. 100 pounds posted
Biposto seat setup inc. seat and cowl in yellow (needs lock and cable) 100 pounds posted
Forks (Sachs or Showa? Can't remember) as per 2003 749S with triple tree - 150 pounds posted
Sachs rear shock - 50 pounds posted
Stock 749 exhaust inc shield etc. - 100 pounds posted

I'm open to collection in North Lincolnshire on all of these, open to a deal for the lot, open to near offers (but I might make you pay the postage). Condition on all of these is alright and serviceable but not new and not for a showbike. I can't *really* be bothered taking pictures, I'm already griping internally about the reality of having to do postage.

  2. lol... Sorry, I don't need any of the parts but im feeling ya about posting stuff... Until someone invents a shoot at my front door that I can put stuff in and press send I think im destined to be a hoarder...

  7. It used to be my back garden when I lived in (Mordor) London...

  8. richmond ain't bad... Try living in southall... Been doin a bit of work around Richmond of late. Thames ditton yesterday. Went to a lovely pub dor lunch

  9. Nah, I escaped back to the North and discovered Lincolnshire. I've my own reasons for loving living here, but they're bloody good ones and you couldn't get me to live in East Yorkshire again for love or money, let alone London. The Lincolnshire Wolds are a wonder to behold for the motoring enthusiast... you literally couldn't make it up. :D

  10. Hey, will the exhaust fit the early grey swing arm 999? And do you have the DB killers?

  11. The Swan??

  12. Yes it will fit but google it before you buy, they look a bit odd and they are loud as fuk without the db killers in, even with them fitted they are loud. Saying that I don't mind odd and if I had some spare wonga Id have them for the fun factor alone.

  13. Yes dude, that is what my bike is. I do have the DB killers too. They made about... ooh, half a metric bugger-all worth of difference. They're shouty, are these. Very fun. I really notice how quiet an open Termi is by comparison... :flushed:

  14. A *bit* odd? Nah... :tearsofjoy:

I think that my "Mivv X-Cone exhaust... it's comedy... sounds ace and looks like a bad dream. 100 pounds posted" explanation about covers it.

If you go hunting on my posts I've put up a few pics of the exhaust previously. It's like having motorcycle tourettes, I'd say...
