Anyone know the the weights of the the following wheels? I'm poss looking for a track day spare. I prefer the 'period correct' 5 spoker, but not at the expense of a gazzillion kilos.
How long can you wait ? Flying back from Spain this evening and have both those wheels in my stash so could weigh tomorrow. Andy
@Nelson, on my kitchen digital scales, a 748R rear forged 5 spoke Marchesini bare weighs approx 4.8kg. An 1100 evo (not Marchesini) rear 10 spoke was almost identical to within about 100gms (lighter). Andy

Just had a chat with a mate and he will weigh a couple of wheels he has to get a consensus. Not sure how much difference there is between forged and cast. The 748R wheels were supposed to be a weight saving so perhaps that is the significant weight saving. Andy
Just had a callback from my mate and a similar 10 spoke wheel weighs in at just over 5kg, so a couple of 100gms heavier. Go figure ! Andy
