I meant 748 fat fingers 749's don't have special sized belts for the R models as well you know :smileys:
Yep def will get them changed as part of a12 k service and health check....question is where? Nearest dealer is aylesbury and reputable specialist is baines. Ducati john would be my preferred but too far. Cornerspeed an option would prefer not to go more south of bucks if poss Sent from my Nexus 10 using Tapatalk
If Cornerspeed is closer then go there. Book early, busy times! Don't trust the belts, they don't look well.
Both have great feedback you won't go wrong with either, Neil at Cornerspeed has given me excellent service. Steve
Both genuine experts by all accounts. Baines did me right and Nelly has been a God send on here and to his customers.
happy to travel within reason but given that baines is a short hop up the m1 and i can go west or south with some other options ill be okay ill give them a go myself next time but for the first one ill get someone a bit more experienced than i am to get them sorted with a bunch of other stuff
If you are on 9.2k I think the general consensus is don't wait till 12k service. I've not tried these guys but did hear a good report, and nothing bad, and popped in a few weeks back to talk about getting the fueling sorted on 996 and he seems to know his stuff. Had a stunning 996R in too. I use Baines, they are a little more than a short hop from me but what Geoff dosen't know isn't worth knowing. They are the only people that seem to be able to get my 916 running right, and they do all the major services on my bikes
Its looking more likely that i will too. The guys that work on my car also ride dukes and the boss whos fastidious uses geoff too. Sent from my Nexus 10 using Tapatalk
