Rear Brake And Abs

Discussion in 'Ducati General Discussion' started by Android853sp, Aug 6, 2016.

  1. I was told yesterday that reducing the ABS intervention on a Pikes Peak improved the performance of the rear brake. Hmmmm, okay, my 2012 s Touring ABS is only either on or off but thought I'd see what affect it would have turning it off. Bugger me, got a back brake that stops the bike . Not sure I want to turn the ABS off permanently but can someone explain why this happens ? Andy

  2. That makes no sense :/

  3. Me neither unless the ABS sensor is too sensitive and the system is constantly intervening. Buggered if I know. Andy

  4. I guess you need to find out if your bike has a fault or if they all do that. Sheer madness if they do... :/
