absolutely :tearsofjoy: given GB went in to this with a ranking of around 7th in the world (although seeded 4th for these games), they have done very well to get a silver. Fiji were immense, and GB's defence just stopped working (or was made to stop working by a very talented group of players who have been coached into a world beating side).
Another boxing tko last night for our super heavyweight, Mo did his stuff, Ennis bagged a silver while the women's and men's cycling continue to bring home golds. Unlucky 13 golds ... Rose in gold position. Can he convert..,
Wahoo Whitlock, GB first ever medal on the floor (amazed given all the scrounging layabout in this country) and it's a Gold. Boom! And rose in contention still...
C'mon people, GB are smashing it!! Whitlock doubles up and Rose brings it home with a gutsy final hole..
Anyway...,Murray did his dour best and managed to retain the Olympic title. Even had a crack st GSTQ!
Now some bird prancing on a horse has bagged a gold and retained the title. Bronze and new GB record for Sophie Hitchin in the hammer (that's prototype shot out to Exige )
Have to say I have had a special interest in the velodrome cycling this year as my daughter is the accounts manager for the company that built the British team bikes. Steve
They may be a complete pain in the arse on the road but they're pretty decent round a velodrome aren't they our cyclists. Fantastic medal haul. [emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
