It looks identical to the OE slipper so your nearest friendly parts department (about £60) or someone like Bursi Evolution in Italy who do a wide selection of slipper clutches for Ducatis. Andy
Spoke to Moto Rapido, they could not confirm or deny it was the same as the Ducati one and suggested I try a forum. Geoff @ Baines thinks they will probably be the same, does not have one in, but can order and happy for me to match up and check. Around £55. HM say they are the main importer of STM to UK and say it will be different and need the part number I can't read as its 1/2 covered by a washer so will need to wait for a 30mm socket to arrive via eBay. But suggested around £65. Design Corse are closed(ish) for stock take so not taking technical calls so have sent question on here. That's about where I'm now
Miles and miles away I'm afraid :-(. If life wasn't so busy I'd pop down though. Having said that, I'll likely be in Winchester Sat 3rd September.
If anyone cares in future the part number is 001MG017 N.1a-2005. Will be calling HM tomorrow....... Slipper looks in pretty good nick to me, really interesting to see how it all fits together, lots of little bits. Dry as your grannies privates in there.
My stm slipper has been sat on the garage shelf for two years now waiting for a spider spring, I must make more effort. Steve
Will that fit the STM? Geoff @ Baines thought Ducati one would fit, Moto Rapido were not sure and HM said it wouldn't.
I haven't pushed the button on one yet, it's sat waiting to go in the 1098 lump, I've got a fixed STM in the 998 at the mo. Mines a Yoyodyne unit but looks pretty identical to the STM. How about I do a drawing of the spider spring that was in that then if Creamy takes some measurements on his maybe we can compare them all with the DP one :Bookworm:
As best I can tell as mines in 3 bits they're as near as damn it identical Just need @Android853sp to post up the DP sizes when he gets back from Mollary
