I've been looking at these. Lovely cars mate. Unfortunately I can't commit to one right this minute as I've just paid out for my wedding. Shame as it looks lovely!
Cheesy wotsits are indeed my favourite, and two, yes two, nearly bought it, throw in some quavers and its a done deal !!!
Sorry, also meant to say GLWS. I love the R8 but the 911 is more appropriate for me (haven't bought one yet) as I need to get the nippers in the back.
No divorce for me (Sadly !!:tongueout, but after four 911's, and now the Audi, I just fancy something sit up and beg, well speced Macan or similar if anyone fancies a deal ? Something that can hold things/people... Cheers all
If you buy a 911, maybe avoid the Turbo, I was a little disappointed and honestly think the normally aspirated cars are better, turbo fast, but something is lost in the whole 911'ness of it all with the twin turbo. Only my opinion but try a NA before forking out on a Turbo. I bought the R8 and traded in a turbo and still believe that wide bodied C2's (GTS is the only one that is wide bodied & 2 wheel drive) are the best.
Yeah, I've been tracking the 997.2 GTS for a while but notice that the values have hardened in the last 12 months - presumably as people realise that this model represents all what is good about the 911. Issue for me is trying to justify a car that I know I will only drive once a week at most. Wonder if I would be better off joining one of the car clubs like ecurie or P1.
No idea what they are TBH, I use my car as a daily driver, why would you only use once a week ? 911 is a true DD car. PS Certain versions of 997.1 has the stronger Mezger engine, but they are also on the up, especially in manual.
Live/work in London so cycle/train into work daily and any time at weekends I get I try and jump on the bike...its just a self justification issue. One day I'll get one, probably when I am too old to use it properly!
You never know if you have enough pennies if you don't know how much it is ? Could be right up your street........literally
