So the SPS passed it MOT yesterday with no issues apart from one. When the MOT guy checked the registration, the DVLA site shows it as a 998s only about 4 years too early. Checked the frame number and it's been registered wrong! It's taken nearly 20 years for this to show up, bet it will take another 20 to sort out
I had a similiar incident with my 999, it was registered with the DVLA as a biposta but was actually a Monoposto from new. I sent the VIN number to Ducati UK via e-mail and they sent me a letter to state the correct model number. This was then sent to the DVLA and it was sorted no problem.
The problem is the actual frame number has been incorrectly registered. The last 5 digits are ok, but digits 7 and 6 instead of being B0, it's been registered as 13 all the early mot certificates have the correct number. The V5C however is wrong
