That sounds awful mate, hope they get you sorted soon. Mate of mine at work picked up a virus in June which left him short of breath and with a very erratic heart rate, he's just been given the all clear by the quack after some very strong anti-biotics. Hope yours is nothing worse.
Thanks, mine was caused by a combination of asthma and it culminated in January with pneumonia...permanent damage done..... ..(asthma that I apparently have had since I was a kid and it's gone untreated, so it is now a combination of COPD not helped by smoking even though I gave up, with the odd slip up).... Don't know what caused this set-back, but it has put me back 9 months....and it doesn't seem to be improving at all...in fact it seems different this time.....just wondering what X Rays might show..... ....Oh well, f**k it....I've done a lot...."four weddings and........." Just a quick update. I got a nice package from the hospital in the post a few days ago. It contained 2 big sachets of Moviprep, which is pretty much the same stuff as Picolax. I'll be making up the first one in about 15 mins. The instructions say to remain close to a toilet for the following 3 hours or so:frown:. Then tomorrow morning, at 06.00 hours I have to go through it all again. In the afternoon I go for the camera thing, apparently they will also inflate me so as to get a better view. Oh Joy.:frown:

Remember what comes in must go out. When they inflate you at one stage you will have to deflate, strap self to toilet as pressure might be higher then usual.
On the plus side, it says to make sure I consume plenty of clear liquid. Beer is a clear liquid isn't it?
It smells nicely lemony, like lemsip, but tastes disgusting: sort of salty/lemony and it's sort of syrupy. I've got to drink a litre of the sodding stuff over the course of an hour or so, I' don't know what I'm dreading the most, forcing the crap down, or letting the crap it produces out......
