748 748 Pillion Bracket Finish

  1. Hi

    Probably a silly question but are the rear pillion brackets anodised or painted on my 99 748 ? .... reason I ask is they have been polished but I want too get them back to the original finish

  4. pretty sure.. You saying they ain't? Got mine sprayed black but thought the standard finish was a metallic silver paint.. I've been wrong before though!

  5. Similarly could be wrong but I thought most of the "bracketry" was rumbled and anodised plain non coloured finish.

  6. The footpegs, both rider and pillion were clear anodised on my 916. AFAIK they were all the same...

  7. hmmm...
    I was sure it was paint as it was flaking on mine but I guess although it looked standard they could have been painted by the last owner
