Was researching route66 and found this mullholland video, looking at some of the crashes on this hill, this would not be on my bucket list!
mulholland is a great place,, tho full of cops who will do you with anything, including crossing the centre line if possible,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, route 66 is somewhat over rated throo most of the states, only the western areas are good ,, pacific highway is good ( when no fog ),,, a Harley is de regueur ,, tho obv not a full dresser,, small 1200 sportster is the jobby... ( few years since i lived there, would love to go back again )
There's another video showing dozens of bikers "sliding" out as if the road is icy! Really weird, I'll see if I can find it
half the prob is that it is the top spot for all the LA ( et Hollywood) posers, " all the right gear and no idea " of how to drive them so obv lots of spills , cars as well, Ferraries , Porsches , Lambos etc,,,,,,,,,,,some of the best spectacles / vids are of the Harleys , knee down and wheelieing
Same as the first guy. Seemed to lose it the instant his knee touched down. Are they trying to hard for the cameras with too little speed or is there a grip problem on that road?
