1200 DVT Acf 50

Discussion in 'Multistrada' started by broke, Oct 28, 2016.

  1. Is there anything out there better than ACF50, I've been told that it can cause problems with oxidation and is difficult to remove.
So any recommendations or opinions :upyeah:

  2. Why would you want to remove it? Defeats the purpose of the product.

Aside from that, I've only just started using it so can't speak long term. Good stuff when applied correctly from every thing I read about it.

  3. Used it on my bikes for a little while, I'm not an expert or chemical engineer per say, however, my understanding is that the whole concept is to protect from oxidation not cause it! Puts a thin film of oily protection over your bits which excludes oxygen which is an element of oxidation
    What causes oxidation?
    A:
    QUICK ANSWER
Oxidation is the reaction that occurs by adding oxygen to other materials, often in combination with water. Oxidation is commonly called rust, but this term technically only applies to iron. Oxidation can occur in a variety of substances besides metals, including food and other materials.
