Need to buy a throttle assy and grips ,as they are missing cant compare what i need .Been given the part number and seen 2 with the same part number but one has a choke button the other hasnt.I rang the shop they said my model doesnt have a button ,but a lever on the left handlebar ? Cant see anywhere to attach an additional cable to the throttle body though The part number i have is 65420021A Cheers
Have you got the owners manual? That should say what you need. However, I'd expect you need the button one on the throttle.

That part no is correct for the throttle assy with a fast idle button. The throttle without it is 654.2.003.1A. and is fitted to the 998's, which also have a fast idle lever. I have never seen a 916 with a fast idle lever.
