  1. yes ,loking good, like the rwd and 45 mpg ., ta

  2. If you can afford it theyre brilliant cars (weve got a titanium x sport). My dad passed away a couple of years back and we used the money to get it as our old car got written off....id have never been able to afford one otherwise. If you get a diesel get it on the dyno and get it mapped...2nd gear is a torque monster now...

  3. Chris?

  4. I considered vans for TD's earlier this year. All the Vw's I looked at were grossly overpriced tat. The best buys (IMO) were the ex-fleet (BT) vans, light use and good history.
Blew the whole idea off in the end and bought a Nissan Gayguy and a trailer.

  5. Probably, they fit an a Doge thing, Peugeot Synagie and Espace for sure but you need to remove upper fairing (on 996)

  6. We could do with a bigger van so may get rid of the Hiace. I reckon for every trackday we waste at least six hours overall packing and unpacking the van. The only downside is a bigger van drives like a 'van' whereas the Hiace and other small vans drive more like a car which is always nice when using it for other stuff.

  7. Have to say, my Master was high top and awesome. Never broke down. Could stand up. Could sleep in with all the kit left in the van full-time. Got 35MPG roughly, even this it had 265k on it when I sold it for £750 after 12k miles in nearly 4 years and no more than £200 a year MOT costs in repairs (always dodgy handbrake). But was a van, not an every day transport thing and looked awful on the drive ;)

  8. and the bigger ones drink fuel like a " van ".

  9. VW transporter or Vito.

  10. Good point that, although I'm more concerned about not ending up with something that's slow than the fuel economy. Might change my mind after a couple long trips though :)

  11. thats what i was thinking, tho i dont do track days i do go to Spain a lot and am considering a van to take one or two bikes with us , so mpg got to be considered.

Vivaro doesn't look to bad on the drive and as already mentioned good fuel economy, I've had this for eight years with no problems other than normal servicing costs.
