He was the Rossi of his time. You should read his book he goes on about his earnings going from £60 a week as a delivery driver to £6000 a week riding for Suzuki. Massive sponsorship deals as well. He had an Augusta helicopter which he flew himself Rolls Royce, the lot. A proper superstar !
