I'm here, but not really chatting. I've tried to help a few out with my knowledge of electronics, but got battered by general ignorance. The "user" who uses the troll word the most is the worst offender of the crime. Either that or he needs to read a dictionary. Massively offensive on here, but nice enough in person.

I became disillusioned, in that people had seen as likeable, suddenly became the opposite . ...I've very strong views on animals, but I felt I was the one that needed to move on.

On a personal note my injured leg (last years RTA) gave way when i was working alone. I fell just a few feet hurting my left arm/elbow.
I was convinced I'd broken my arm, but managed to drive myself home and thought I'd rest it up and see how I felt later. 6 hours passed and I was still in "roadside" pain, so I took a taxi to A&E. After an x-ray and a check up I was sent home with a bad sprain and told to keep it moving or it will seize up.
I tried to work and take it easy. I'd lost 20 degrees of straightening and the elbow was agony. After 6 weeks I got to see a specialist. "You've snapped the radial head off, it's rotated and set badly" ..."can't do anything now"......make the best of it etc.
This now means I've only got one fully functioning limb! But since my brother is riding without a leg....I'm gong to make efforts to get riding again next season. My brother has had loads of trouble and repeat operators, bone infections etc....Life has been shit.

I didn't want to trouble you lot with my woes.....but at least one of you did ask.......I'm going back down my hole again now.

Sorry to hear of yet more woes and sorry if anything said was taken personally as I can assure you nothing said by me or those that give a shit was meant in anything other than just. Bad taste maybe but jest all the same.. Anyhu , I wish you and Andy all the best and look forward to a ride out in the futer

At the time I got my faultistrada and joined the forum, you were about the most helpful and vocal user on here. Was sad to hear about you and your brother but sure you'll both fight through one way or another.

Are you sure nothing can be done?? It's a mechanical problem. I bet a clever surgeon could cut, rotate and reset it if he actually wanted to or if you paid him to.

I've just had a full CT scan and have an appointment with "the man" @ St. Marys at the end of the month. At the moment having a second radial head replacement isn't top of my wish list. Having two arms that are painful, cannot load bear or be fully extended is hampering my style.

spoke to her a few weeks back and she's all good dude, not sure why or if she's not been on here lately (as I've been away.. Valencia incase I didn't mention it before) but will be on her case real soon. She's a good egg
