Not in any hurry to be honest, was just testing the water, not advertised it yet other than here, may keep it. Cheers for now.
Nobody fancies it so either I've got to advertise it on an actual car site......Or you have a new job !! You'll need this
Wouldnt worry about that, I bought my BMW 123d M-Sport Coupe 2 days before I got married and never told the missus. Just turned up in it. Then we got married and went off on a 2 week honeymoon with me worrying if my new beemer was okay on the drive. Yep, the 911 is definitely a daily driver, I use mine for my daily commute, doing about 500 miles a week in it atm. Probably will kill the resale value a bit, but as its the 997.1 Turbo Mezger in Manual, which has gone up in value over the last year I am hoping that will off-set some of the depreciation. Took me 9 months to find this one, so theres not many for sale atm. Definitely. I get my 2 little lads in the back of my 911 no problem. They love it. The baby falls asleep instantly with the engine noise and the toddler keeps telling me "dont go super fast Daddy, you dont want to be arrested"..... I would highly recommend them, so much fun to drive. I just cant believe I waited so long to get one. Only problem ive had with mine was the wife going ape when I pulled onto the drive in it. As with the beemer I never told her I was buying one. Just turned up in it. I think it didnt help that through the powers of google she found out how much they cost! eeek!
I had a 997.1 mezger turbo last year, BT08 was the reg, make sure you lube both actuators regularly, if they seize with rain/salt etc, the whole turbo units need replacing, the 996 had seperate actuators, but 997 is one unit. A little gutted as sold mine for 50k and now they are rising... Typical.

No takers ?? Not advertised yet, as have other stuff to deal with (House fire to name but one) but anyhoo, the Audi is going on Autotrader and Pistonheads next week once I'm off shift, so get ya offers in quick :euro::dollar::gbp::yen: I expect my email box will be full by tonight with folk clambering to buy it eh
Well after spending over 2 months sorting my insurance claim for the fire, the car is finally advertised on PH..... Used 2010 Audi R8 V10 QUATTRO for sale in Hampshire | Pistonheads Now if someone has a nice boring SUV or eurobox diesel they wanna flog me...I'm all ears ??
I do! well....i really dont want to sell it but i think its gonna have to go...well...im currently working out to see if i can keep it...best car weve ever had...!
I don't wish to appear ungrateful, but was thinking something more like a RR, F pace or Porsche Macan etc, if a eurobox and not SUV, am thinking merc E class or 5 series etc. Thanks for the suggestion though, but something a little erm..... Meatier in the engine department
I can't get an Audi because I have this strong, and rapidly increasing belief, that audis are driven by cocks and make the world a much worse place. Also I can't afford it.
Heh - absolutely ok! although ive gotta say we did get it on a dyno and got it mapped....stock output is 163, ours chimed in at 183 and once it was mapped came back with 205 so not bad...second gear is fun!
