Right Guy's Put MIVV decat pipe on my 2016 P/P and it really needs a remap. Anybody know of anywhere I can send my ECU to get it done ? Backfires a bit to much at the minute. Steve
Knightrider I have sent many messages and e-mails to RexXer with no replies. Anybody else have any ideas?? Steve
Over here in the UK but Chris at CJS racing will convert it to a Race ECU (I believe he adds his own tweaks also) CJS RACING Ducati Cylinder Heads Tuning Gas Flow Dyno ECU Custom Mapping Bristol Bath His place is a few miles from me and anything with 2 wheels I own goes to him for dyno work.
I was there a couple of weeks ago and agree he said he hasn't been able to do anything to a DVT Ecu yet.
That's what I thought Moto rapido in Winchester have no interest in dealing with one either : ( Must be enough interest out there with us Dvt owners , with All the decat pipes being fitted
Ah - my apologies....just assumed....if he hasn't it cant be long....he was the first (worldwide I think) to map my gen4 z1000.....
Chris said he was working on it but Ducati have apparently made the ECU quite 'tamper proof ' !!! He'll get round it eventually.
There is a reason CJS and Rapido aren't interested and it won't be lack of customers. Seems Ducati have done too good a job linking it down. Also not sure what impact variable timing has on their ability to create a new map: no longer is the simple timing and AF the only think being adjusted
Just texted Chris.... It's doable but the ecu needs to be cracked open... He said he wouldn't do it for less than 1k as its risky... He said rexxer are currently doing it (flashing a duc performance file to it...) Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
Termignoni new T800 remapping software might have it in the future; they have it as a supported bike but depends if they will support a decat - assume they would as it would be effectively the full system - UpMap supported bikes Drop them an email and ask - took about a week to confirm the 899 mapping for me (should be due this week). 1st map is free so about £280, which is the unit cost.
