We'd better have some Dali: "Geopoliticus Child watching the birth of new man" - In the style of a nightmare Botticelli.. Painted on a visit to the USA and showing this new man "hatching" out north America on the globe and crumpling Great Britain with its fist it's assumed to be a comment on the birth of the age of superpower America and the end of the old imperial world. Personally, I think seen as a none too subtle meditation on the destructiveness of modern man, it would apply whichever part of the globe this creature was shown bursting from. And an example of why he's been called an old master. Wasn't all weirdness. His brushwork was the stuff of genius.
