So it looks like someone started a petition on information that they never bothered to research, and then nearly thirty thousand sheep just signed it without bothering to check either. Make them all look like fools. I won't be signing it. The petitioner is not that clever either, they don't realise that UK should be in capitals, and sentences start with a capital letter.
Loads of petitions are started on innumerable subjects, most of them poorly drafted, badly researched, wholly misconceived, and with not the slightest chance of having any effect. And some folk sign them without a clue what they are doing. Funny, isn't it?
It's not enough to be well-meaning, you need to be informed. You also need to have lunch occasionally with rock-stars from the legal professions - judges, barristers, QCs, etc. Without this, your opinion is less than useless. It's terribly common, too and no one likes that.
It does make a difference though. If the petitions process becomes clogged with ill informed and inaccurate items then it is much easier for them all to be disregarded
:Woot: Great! Hopefully they will start with the ones calling for a 2nd EU referendum or the 500,000 that have just signed one for Trump's tate visit to be cancelled. I can't vote against these petitions, so I'm happy to clog the system wil ill informed and inaccurate petitions.
My fingers. I really should read stuff over, but I know that you have my back with your need to spell check. :Wideyed:
HMF should pay the same tax as everyone else. Those were the terms and conditions at the start of the contract...
