Not like he's running down old ladies or molesting kids but still sounds like a bit of an ignorant cunt...saying that i dont think ive ever seen anyone park that blatantly in the motorcycle area....
Yeah I can't talk as i nearly always park in 'baby spaces' as I've been doored countless times in previous cars despite parking right at the back. However the last time I frequented a generic shopping place was probably around 7 months ago... I fucking detest it. So my missus does it as she oddly likes it... It's just full of helmets with no sense of direction. Ambling around in a zombie like state.
Yeah but, a. He could have taken the "a bit sheepish route and apologised....but didnt" and b. the lad that filmed it looked like he was goading him a bit also...
Clunes was a dick for temporarily parking there only matched by the other bloke who clearly is a dick most of the time.
At least he was doing his bit for the environment. Not a 5p plastic bag in sight. Yeah, he shouldn't have done it, but it's hardly a hanging offence. The bloke filming was a tool and got wound up because Doc Martin wasn't. Once you use the c word, you've lost the argument in my book. If he wanted to have a word, then do so, but the camera phone was because he was hoping for a reaction. I'll bet that this bloke will be the type to be pointing his camera phone in people's face all the time hoping for a reaction, he may just get his wish one day. He needs to get a life.
The guy filming did goad and called him a tit as he drove off. I'd would of just told him he was a selfish Cvnt to his face, without filming it. May be a picture just to prove the point. As someone who frequently and legally parks in a disabled space I've already had plenty of run in's with Uber, Black cabs, diplomats (the worst, especially the African and Middle East) and just other drivers who see a designated Disabled space as a "it's ok I'm only going to be a few minutes" space. Depending on what vehicle I'm in I block them in and say I'll be back in just a moment.
It's all about courtesy towards others, isn't it? The guy filming comes off looking worse. @Advikaz I think the same applies to your parking in family spaces who need extra room to get kids in and out of cars.
Would you have felt differently if it had been your Ducati he had parked next too I was surprised at the "don't care" attitude
I wouldn't have personally given it the attitude he did. And also to say there's always stacks of baby spaces when I have been to the shops. If there wasn't I wouldn't park in them. Not justifying it as it's clearly wrong ! But it wouldn't stop me doing so, for the aforementioned.
Family spaces right by the door. Hardly disabled, are they?! It's an increasing scourge in car parks: more of the 'I've got my rights' brigade. Disabled I get: the rest is just lazy b'trds.
I think if the guy had approached Martin Clunes in a different manner without the phone in his face, then he would have received a different reaction. I think this is why he brushed him off almost immediately once he saw what he was up to. He remained polite throughout. The guy with the phone did not.
Parked in a motorcycle bay in a private car park. So fucking what... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The guy on the phone is a proper dickhead..Martin Clunes is a little cheeky where he's parked but seeing as most bikers tend to park wherever they feel like... (well they do in Bournemouth anyway) don't really think it's much of a big deal..
