Yeah - on hindsight i wouldnt leave mine anywhere i couldnt see it....the other bikes i would but that one is a thief magnet....the reason its got a built in tilt sensor alarm....in that its built into the m-unit that controls all the electrics....
Had my first proper full-blooded (not literally) ride of the year yesterday on the SMT. Went past a couple suited and lidded on their driveway standing next to a very clean sparkly GS1200. I nodded as I went past and they just stared. No response, nothing. I guess they thought, Bugger, another bike we'll never get past. Maybe we should just take the Volvo out...
I've never found that. I used to acknowledge all bikes, but almost never got a response from a Harley. Now I don't bother with Harleys and I'm very, very rarely acknowledged with an initial nod, if it happens, I'll respond.
I often get a nod from the fat accountants but never from the Hell's Budgie greebos with the shades and the fingerless gloves. They don't do nodding because they're hard you know...
I was part of the BMW crowd for the last two years. Not much going on. You could ask a question and recieve no reply for weeks. Glad to be back here. I suppose I could have stayed even though I had a BMW but you just dont do you. Weird shit man. Regards Steve
