Thought I'd get a price on my multi. Aug 15 plate S model White 3900 miles Great condition Cost me just over £16k Wondering of I should take their offer of £7610.....:tearsofjoy::tearsofjoy::tearsofjoy:
They (We Buy any Car) recently offered me £180 for my mothers 2007 Peugeot 207 diesel sport . I sold it for her for £2k privately. They have the cheek to mail me weekly telling me to be quick to take advantage of their offer as it may decrease. :Wideyed:
I find that tune they play in their advertisements increasingly annoying. That and the bloke with the high-pitched voice they use. The offer for the Peugeot is astounding though - I got a quote for a car I was selling a couple of years ago, and although it was not good, it was not much worse than the dealer was offering as trade-in. It was also a fair bit more than the figures I was receiving from muppets who responded to my Autotrader ad, until I sold it for a fair, and better, price, to one of the few genuine responders to my ad. I have heard it suggested that they often reduce their offer when they see the vehicle...
My email back to them... Thanks you for your email Dawn. Given this bike is 18m old, cost £16k, has below average miles, any dealer would pay 10K and would be on a forecourt for @13k plus, I think I’ll give your offer a miss. I now I must be mad, but sometimes you have to take a risk... R’s Paul
I needed a quote for my 2010 SFS as I was buying it off my business last month and needed to be squeaky clean for the accountant and tax man - the fekkers offered me far too unch: Funnily enough, a similar amount to your much newer much more expensive Multi - must be a classic already
I couldn't get online quote, must have been my private reg not working with their out of date DVLA lookup
What age/mileage? That sounds worth taking off a SF, top dollar for latest models isn't much above 9500
