Ground Anchor

  1. Project Lock
This thread is from the dark side (GS Forum) a guy has made a lock with a pin that goes through the hollow rear axle of a GS. His own project but looks good and maybe he can make one for peeps on here with sssa bikes?
    Worth a look.

  2. Looks very 'precise'. I'd hate to park the bike up and have a slow puncture that changes the bike angle and you've warped your axle or something. Some kind of adjustment on the unit itself would be good, to independently adjust the height of each side, and then have changeable pin diameters for different bikes (or non OEM parts)... or get a chain.

  3. This type of device has little effect when hidden in your garage. Once in the garage thieves can soon get through ground anchors, whatever the design.
You need to make the building more secure...

  4. I've got this beauty cemented in the new garage. With all the cameras, I'll be aware what's going on and I've only got to slow them down enough to arm myself or await the old bill. Also works with any bike!

  5. I don't agree for a few reasons.

    It's gonna slow them down.
It's gonna make a lot noise getting through a good ground anchor and chain.
They're gonna have to move the bike which will set off the alarmed disc lock on the other wheel.
My garage is alarmed so from the time they break in, the longer it takes the better.
