Looking for a slipper clutch for my 899. Not too fussy on the make. If nothing comes up in next 3/4 weeks then I'll buy new. Thanks
Are you selling it? Do you notice much of an improvement compared to standard clutch? I dont track my bike so only will only be used for road use.
Sorry it's not for sale I'm afraid. Its connected to a set of Lightech rearsets. Very smooth gear changes, setup as a track bike though.
Not sure if it's just me, but I'd probably not bother with a slipper if it's just for road.. They're awesome on track and don't get me wrong well worth the money. But you don't really 'need' it for the road in my opinion. But I guess what do you need
Thanks for the feedback. I did read elsewhere that you dont really get the full benefit of it on road use.... I may spend the money elsewhere then.
You need to ask yourself how aggressively do I ride up to corners and how often do I bang down several gears in quick succession to slow down ? If you do, the slipper clutch will save you from an arse clenching rear wheel lockup but if you don't as you say, save your money for something else. Andy
