  8. Have to a Cornish meet up!! Blast n a pasty!!!

  9. Sounds good to me!! Dodge that pasty tax mind you

  10. Any of you Cornish guys know of the nearest DOC branch down here? Plymouth I guess but have memories of meets at Portreath or Porthtowan?
    What about Kernowisti?

  11. There used to be a meet by a pub under the Tamar bridge years ago. Would like to know as would pop along.

  12. in devon we buy a cold pasty strap it to the top of you tremis go for a ride and you have a hot pasty oohhh yeah

  13. Apparently there are 3 variants of pasty? Large, medium and small or no?

  14. You west country boys planning a meet at the Haldon Cafe like the old 'Ducatisti' days? If so I might ride down to join in this summer.

  15. not been there for years is it still running ?

  16. Think you will find the correct terminology for Cornwall is 'Ur No?' bewtie!

  17. Would like a regular Cornwall Ducati meet. Perhaps meeting at Hayle on a Tuesday night! ;-)

  18. Came down two weeks ago to stay in Mamhead with daughter. Haldon cafe was open then and looked pleasant in the sunshine.

  19. Yes, the Haldon Cafe is a good cafe/location for a Ducati meet. We (Ducatisti) met there a few times (Saturday morning) but it faded out of attendance by the Ducatisti. Maybe it was too far for those up in the M5 North'ish direction and too far for those from deepest Cornwall.
Somewhere in the area of Honiton/Tiverton/Collumpton 'ish would be better for those up the M5 I would expect and possibly those a bit further West.
To work for those in both Cornwall/Devon somewhere in the area bounded by Plymouth/Bodmin/Bude/Okehampton looks more central.
Hayle for a Tuesday night as suggested by Desmo Pete is too far down for an evening run from Plymouth/Exeter to be honest but I expect it would be fine for those nearer. Now if it was on a Saturday morning I'd be up for it.
I love to see/hear the Ducatis get together so any meet suggestions would be appreciated.

  20. What about the Route 38 cafe just out side Saltash ?
Had a few good meals there
