  2. This post is like therapy for me.

    22 emails and 10 phones calls (connected) with an average wait time of 20 minutes. 23rd December 2016 to date.
    I still don't have an RMA or returns / refund date.
    Lenovo technical support "Digital River is a separate retail operation and we cannot arrange a refund as the non quibble period has not yet passed".....sic!
    Digital river is how you buy Lenovo.....badge'd Lenovo direct.

    Is there a "I HATE LENOVO" website....if so I'd like to join.
    The ONLY upside is that I LOOOOVE the Irish girls accents on the phone.
    Is this wrong when making a complaint?

  5. I'm sure they will have left a card with a neighbour or some such. We had a similar bad experience at work with Leno o a year or so back, crap company when it comes to service.
     
  6. I waited in in from 7am to 6pm for a new mattress today. Eventually he called at 6:30 to say 15mins and got here 7:30. But at least it arrived.
     
  7. NO. No card, no explanation.
    Arranged new collection for last Thursday, so they collected on the Wednesday, just as I was going out.
    Needless to say I've only just received the full refund, 3 & 1/3 weeks after reporting the fault and requesting a refund.
    More quibbles than a whole BBC series of Black Adder!
     
  8. Awesome company....slight problem with the screens, but sent 3 more no questions on a next day.

    Started to load software.....Microsoft Maps is amazing. It's told me about an accident that's going to happen tomorrow.

  9. New PC is awesome....should have upgraded ages ago.:Banghead:
    They supplied the wrong version of Windows 10 for me and it cost a £100 to upgrade.....
    They paid immediately as it was bad advice......brilliant company and we all make mistakes, well except me. I thought I did once, but I was mistaken.:Angelic:

    Is there a good book or website resource on how to use three screens.....I keep having to adjust each page to fit the screen, surely there must be a way to snap?

    How do I get my Outlook 365 to sync to my contacts in my Samsung S5....It was easy on XP and Outlook 2003 as Kies did it.
    Now Samsung says I must use smart switch, but this appears to be for MOVING data from one phone to another and not syncing.

  10. It's perhaps worth highlighting that if you do consider buying a Lenovo computer, or any other that they sell, then John Lewis can be a good choice of retailer. Not only is their pricing OK, they usually extend the warranty beyond standard (2 years minimum included by JL I believe) and they also take some responsibility for returns. I've twice had to take advantage of this. In the case of an HP laptop, quite a few years ago, JL arranged for HP to pick it up, mend it, and return it to me; with a later Lenovo purchase JL themselves took the laptop, sent it back, and then when it returned to them, not repaired (no spares! 6 months old), they were immediately happy to swap for another new computer of similar value.

  12. More help required.

    I still cannot sync between my Samsung S5 Andriod phone, my Windows 10 PC with 365 Office and my phone despite spending a small fortune on telephone support, the £65 a year purchase of an exchange mail box.
    I've now got multiple duplicate databases, but nothing talks to each other. Any ideas on how to proceed?

    Surely I can't be the only person that wants the office PC and the mobile to have the same data?
     
  13. Hmm. I'm just about to find this out for myself in the next few weeks, as my Windows phone gets junked and I embrace Android for the first time.
