  1. Let's hope this isn't a new trend. Modern vehicles are almost impossible to steal without the keys, hence the modern phenomena of house break ins to get to get them. It's a lot easier for a couple of spotty scroats with balaclavas and hammers to steal a bike sitting at the lights, engine running, then it is to get one out of a garage bolted to the floor.:(

Well done to the "Have a go heroes" :upyeah:

  3. Absolutely unbelievable that footage, the only way to stop those fuckers is to set up some vigilante groups with some old bikes who look shiny enough to be attractive, then when they get attacked six big blokes following the bike in a van, jump out with some baseball bats, for a friendly conversation and free advise to that scum, maybe they could be persuaded to take up a sport instead of robbing hard working people ( baseball or so lol)

  4. Fkn wankers, they should shoot the scum like they do in Brazil.
Four em break an five/six year old bike and get, what, 3-400 quid each out of it?
They don't give a sht about you or me and should be treated as such.
All this mamby-pamby policing and culture gets right on my tits.

  5. Should sling those scum bags up a tree....medieval style :Dead:

  6. 'more than 9,900 moped, scooter and motorcycle thefts reported across London over the past year.'

Work it out. That's an average of 27 every day of the year!
    Unbefingleavable!

How come they can't track them on all these cameras they've got on every second lamp post?

  7. Because they aren't illegally parking, fully insured and law abiding citizens

  8. So basically the police are publically admitting they're going to do fuck all about it then.

    What a fucking joke.

Her parents have a second home there and love it

  13. I'm going to move out of London.

Daren't leave my bike outside my own house.
Daren't even wash it out the front.

    I'm done with it.

  14. Scooters are often stolen to use to commit other crimes... the scooter drive by etc and the police won't stop, chase because it could cause an accident!!!! Makes me sick

  15. Bit less convenient for mways than me but still good for London in 1 1/2hr, Oxford, midlands, south coast all within 2 hrs. And every road is a great one :upyeah:

We did look at tetbury and nearly bought there but our budget would have given a semi or new detached where we spent less and got a 60's detached

  16. What a nice change of thread, from barky barky daily mail style rant of hanging scum from trees, to the leafy gentle suburbs of Cotswolds villages. :)
    Love sundays.

  18. Essentially the issue is the lack of traffic police about. Back in the day when i was a scooterboy, id get pulled over daily. At least once. Sometimes more.

But if they get near me, theyll get booted off. Or id use the bike as a weapon. But i never ride into that london. Train is easier and a good oppurtunity to put headphones in and listen to music. I gave up riding into london after i found my 916 wedged between 2 scoots. I left them lying in the middle of the road. Scratched my fairing they did and i got angry. Prob shouldnt have done that but hey. I mightve kicked them a bit too. Maybe. Sorry.
