Dvt Road Side Tubeless Tyre Repair!

  1. Mini trip out this weekend with the boys, ride planned from Portpatrick to Morpeth, weather very mixed! Ended up with a rear puncture on the multi! Went completely flat during a coffee stop in a village in the middle of now where! This village just happened to have a 1 pump petrol station and an airline :) used the tubeless repair kit to plug the hole, very sceptical, that it would hold but a 150 mile brisk ride to Morpeth and another 225 home proved me happily wrong. Original Pirelli Scorpions with 4200 miles so they've served me well! Question is what to replace them with, looking for road focused, all weather tyre, any recommendations?

  2. PR4

BTW is it slime or rubber bungs? Never checked mine :)

  3. Rubber bungs with the relevant tools and co2 cartridges, 2 points to consider, if it wasn't for the airline I'd have needed a cartridge to inflate the tyre to find the cut (looked like glass) and also on affixing the file spike thingy, I couldn't remove it without pliers, which were borrowed from the garage in order to fix the rubber "needle" thingy!

I didn't do as much "reaming" but this worth a watch
