its accumulative. initial cost sometimes just a bottle of wine. but my wife dont drink. so payed 500 for the bike sold it for a grand shortly after. but i recon i am probably about 30-50k out of pocket over the last eleven years. he wont be allowed to forget.
@Cream_Revenge Helen has a little Honda CBF 125 that we'll be getting rid of again soon all being well. 2013 bike in white, we bought it (for £1600) off her instructor for her to practice on whilst going through her direct access, with the agreement that he would buy it back from us for a couple of hundred quid less once she's done with it if we wanted him too... Not the prettiest or tidiest bike I've ever seen but been always maintained in the areas that have needed it and serviced regularly... Was serviced by him, fresh MOT and new tyres on it when we agreed to buy it a couple of months ago... I would be surprised if its done 300 miles since then. We're near Scunthorpe if this is something that would help you out and be of interested mate.
If you can find one a Cagiva Raptor... comfy, feels like a bigger bike and two stroke fun!!!! My ex had one and it was waaaay more fun than the cbr125 I learnt on... quicker too!! And cheaper!!!
Yep - great little bikes, my other half had one for exactly get same purpose . confidence inspiring as nice and low and look good
