if you can next time your down, give mawgan porth a go. i prefer the scenery of north Cornwall but love the little coastal villages of the south.
yes Mawgan Porth is a beach we want to go to,as it's dog friendly all year.We usually alternate between Tintagel and Marazion,so next year we're hoping to stay around the Penzance area. Mousehole and Marazion are gorgeous, even better the Minack theatre, that is stunning.
Cool. Love a land-locked beach. There's a few spots along the Dorset coast like that if you know where to look. Brandy Bay was a favourite place when I lived in Weymouth and had a little boat. Directly under the cliffs behind Tyneham village, a really popular tourist spot, there's a shallow bay which most visitors wouldn't know was there. Completely inaccessible from land with a grassy area at the bottom you pitch a tent on. Its in the MOD coastal firing range though so you had to pick your time and be gone before the safety boat came and threw you off.
Awesome......when the tide went right out it joined up with another bigger cove Benoath Cove, which we managed to get to a couple more days, only more people were there this time. Luckily the beach was so big at low tide,we had a lovely spot at the far end,and Remi could stay off his lead for a while.
i love cornwall, spent the last couple of years down there in the other half camper, luna our akita also loves it.
One of my favourite places in the UK, and Remi's first holiday with us, many more to come. Luckily there are more places that are dog friendly now. You're going to have to post a pic of Luna!
Awww, she's a beauty. Always reminds me of that film called Hachi, I have never cried so much in my life at a film lol!
Lived right by the beach at Marazion station when I was little, then Penzance, then Mousehole. Now in the Topsham end of Exeter, just a short cycle ride from the top of the Exe estuary. Great part of the world to live
Wow, fabulous! Well, if ever we win the lottery, we'll definitely have a place down there somewhere. Remi's missing the beach already!
Remi loved the beach and the sea, he didn't mind very small waves, but he was very wary about the bigger ones.
