Cleaned the clutch today getting ready for the new cover and black spring end caps.
The anodising on he pressure plate is badly faded almost turning pink...

Anything that can be done cheaply to restore it?

  2. Any colour you want, I don't know the prices, but you could make something funky. :p

  3. I said cheap :D
They all want £50 plus vat .

Better off just buying a new pressure plate.

  5. I found a place via google that said they would do a dozen or so bits, heal plates, etc, for £30 as long as it was nothing fancy and no hurry. Drop off and they'll do with the next run the same colour I wanted.

I'd expect my local Powder Coaters would do it for about £10-£20 when they were doing the same colour for someone else.

  6. I just spray painted the original Ducati plates on both of mine with VHT black, holds up well and cheap enough to do again anyway.

  7. If your a tight arse then a diy high temp paint is the way to go, personally I'd just get it powder coated as it seems a decent mid point.

  8. I'll probably leave it for now and see what it will look like with the new cover and spring caps....
I might like the pink :p
