  1. Anyone recommend a place to get my bikes suspension geometry set up for me? 1299S. I'd do it myself but as sussie is a dark art, I'd prefer to take it somewhere where someone knows what they are doing rather than me faffing around swearing at it. Thanks. :)

  2. I believe Steve Jordan M/C near Box Hill have a fairly decent rep.
Or...just do it yourself and swear a lot.

  3. Generally, I wont go anywhere nr SJ after they butchered mates bikes. However its prob just mate over exaggerating and anyways I forget why too. But I'd prefer a Ducati dealer, would Snells offer this service or MotoRapido as I generally trust these two the most.

  14. They have a fab reputation too :)
And being in York is always a bonus being the centre of the known universe :upyeah:

  15. Ive been to York. Its as far away from the centre of anything as it can get. Its no longer the 11th Century. Even Barnsley is more progressive than York.

  16. They're a good shout

  17. Me too but my employer allows me to pre-book days away from work. These are colloquially known as "holidays". They also pay me to do this as part of my annual salary. Perhaps you should suggest it to your employer/master.

  18. I've used Colin before at 100% suspension but it was many years ago when I was probably a bit wet behind the ears to really push on, or give any decent feedback

However yesterday I took the Superduke to Donington and decided to use the day working with him to get it dialled in a bit better. It was £50 so worth the punt as they say

Even though I'd made some adjustments myself months ago from reading various web posts and articles, the night and day difference was amazing.

I did the warm up and first session on my previous settings which I thought were ok up until then, took it to him straight after that first session and he made some sizable changes to what I'd previously thought was 'ok'

His first crack did make me huge difference BTW

Then as the day progressed and I got quicker, and the suspension warmer, I started feeling a smidgen of the pushing and wallowing under power that I'd felt earlier that morning.

Just popped back to see him, he then made some really small changes and after that it was far more stable and controlled.

Even for a naked bike with bags of torque, when on its ear I could really pin it and it held a line beautifully and just felt far more composed.

Imo it'd be worth going to see him
