BTW its not your money once you pay it too someone else. You can choose whether to pay the BBC or not.
There are only really 3 customers for these peoples television skills: BBC,ITV,and Sly. The BBC makes people famous, and when they become famous they demand more,(because they are famous). If they don't get what they then demand from the BBC,they wander off to ITV or Sly,who reap the benefit of their fame.Assuming Sly/ITV want them. And the rate they get from Sly/ITV is set by whatever they could screw out of the BBC,which doesn't have to make a profit and hence can pay whatever they want,so if Sly/ITV want to benefit from the already-famous,(thanks to the licence payer), face, then they will pay...saves money in the long run, because they haven't had to pilot shows only to find the useless twats are disliked by the potential viewer. I appreciate that there are people who like the BBC's output, but for the most part,I don't. And even I would probably not begrudge paying for it if that was the only issue. However, they are no longer the organisation they were supposed to be.The whole corporation is riddled with left wing bias, the controlling board is nothing but an old boy network, and they twist every possible subject into a blatant advertisement for the public sector,or an excuse to bash the current Government,or to air the views of their editorial,(and probably senior) management. Their claim to be affected by market forces is a complete nonsense, they are funded by millions of (possibly unwilling like myself),licence fee payers, for no other reason than we happen to own an electronic receiver thats possible to tune to their programmes. They cannot possibly lose money,or their market position, because they do not have to be competitive If people are fans of them, let those fans fund them.
Yes, but it's my choice which advertisers I give cash too, the beeb give me no choice at all, they just forcefully take 147 quid a year, regardless if I choose to watch or not, that's legalised theft is it not? The licence fee is outdated Shit that's kept purely to maintain fat cat cnuts in mega rich circumstances.
Labour have said they had professional bodies cost it and they intend to pay for it so we should be okay
You don't have to pay the BBC if you choose not to. Maybe if all those with so much hate used it to better effect rather than making the UK an ever worse place to live, then i might listen to them more. Think on this. Tomorrow your boss says you can be paid £2 million per year because you have brought in so many new customers. Would you turn it down?
On the plus side duke, knowing how impartial you are, you now have a much bigger list of those 5% you hate so much, go get em boy
How can you use hate to better effect? And how have BBC employees pulled more customers? Everyone already pays for a licence?
Yep 'they don't say what i want to believe so they must be wrong'. I'm glad i don't live in your feeble shallow-minded worlds.
