1198 Full Termi System

Discussion in 'Wanted' started by Cupid Stunt, Aug 1, 2017.

  1. I'm after a full termi system for an 1198

  2. I've got a pucka Superstock one that will probably be for sale end Sept.

  3. If it's the same as a 1098 I know someone with a full standard system, any use?

  4. Ignore just read you said termi. He will have one of those if he breaks it

  5. What's different about a superstock system?

  6. I wonder what I did in a previous life for Apple to operate in the way that it does....

  7. Much better quality of welds. Has provision for lambda sensors if required. No holes for DB killers in cans. Easily added if needed.
    Plus bragging rights of course..:upyeah:

  8. What about Ecu or can I just flash my current one with full system up map

  9. It's the little things in life that amuses us.

  10. Yup - flashover jobbie.
Either DIY or Super Chris aka ChrisW

  11. I can flash my own (ecu that is). Have done my streetfighter as the cans came from an 848 with ecu but my SF is 1098

  12. I can't fit the slash cuts to this though can I believe the spring locators on the slash cuts are on the out side where as on the oval or superstock are on the inside ?

  13. Mine are on the inside. However I believe it's common practice to twist them around.

  14. I've got the full slash cut system on my 848 evo they are on the outside. I gathered I could twist them so spring loops match. At least I'll be different. Actually come to think of it the full system on my 848 would bolt straight on to the 1198 I'm assuming they are all 70mm what about the bolt holes on the outlet from cylinder heads will they mate up ok or is exhaust port bigger on 1198 ?

  15. 1198 headers have a different fixing spacing. Someone on here "dressed" the holes on I think a 1098 set of headers to fit. Andy

  16. 20170803_094604.jpg i rewelded the the hooks on mine as the end cans wouldnt fit, as stated the hooks were on the inside of the link pipe. its an easy fix. :upyeah:

  17. I was thinking of swapping the cans from my 848 to the 1198 just for now but alas they wont fit.
So I am begining to wonder why when people are selling these items they sate Fit 848/1098/1198.
    Utter bollox
