Yep, still got it although it's mainly sat in the garage unfortunately. It's a mate of mine (not on the forum) who's after the 999R. There's a beautiful one for sale at the Bike Specialist in Sheffield. Big money, as they always are there so just hunting around for something similar at a bit less money.....
I'm collecting mine on Monday. It may be a short stay though as I'm currently negotiating on a D16RR and I will get literally crucified if two more new bikes show up this month (I haven't even mentioned the 999R yet). The 999R is coming from a Ducati agent in Germany with all the correct history etc. I'm based just outside Geneva and if you are in Spain I have family in Seville (even if you're not I still do) so could find an excuse to deliver if you are interested and it ends up having to go. I'll post up some pics on my potentially ironically titled thread '999R On the way' when I get it home!
He's a Brit, lives in Portugal but is back and forth from UK quite a bit too... Keep me posted: if you need to get rid then I'll send you his contact details. I'm often in and out of Annemasse - nice area down there. Love spending time in Chamonix
I think he's seen that one but pretty sure he wants the bigger one. If nothing's around then maybe the 749R would be a great second choice. Thanks for the heads up by the way, appreciated!
Ha ha, Annemasse is a dump but the rest of the region is lovely. It's not so much needing to get rid it's more about running out of places to hide them from disapproving females! I also have a beautiful 999S Mono Nero which has only been ridden twice so I may part with that instead. Anyway, watch this space!
