916 95 Strada - Fair Price?

  1. Interested in views on what a fair price might be for a clean 1995 Strada with circa 20k miles and part history

  2. Is that for a monoposto? Have seen later bipostos from £5-6k, hardly any monos about right now

Do you have any thoughts on where to find one?

  3. I turned a 94 Strada down a while ago at £5500, shouldn't have done, but I did :)
Yes people ask high prices now, but it's the 94 that's more desirable.

  4. The Motorcycle Broker was looking for £12995 for a 95 Strada made in Bologna which seemed very steep. He basically told me I was an idiot when I challenged him. Thanks for your advice

  5. I hope the "Motorcycle Broker" is under no illusions that you will return and purchase anything from him ever!

  6. Was a bit strange, he seemed resolute he was in the right. I just politely disagreed. He then commented on a Facebook post about some anonymous (ie me) person asking him stupid questions. Do you know him?

  7. No I have no idea who you are talking about, but any salesmen who insult buyers are in the wrong job!

  8. If you can find a 1994 Mono, in good original condition then I've seen them sell for £12k..I think there was one on Car & Classic for near £14k and it sold.

But they have to be original, with all the early parts on. Rivets on the lower fairings, exhausts, black mirrors, elephant logos on the screen and fuel filler, original toolkit and manual etc and they are hard to find in that condition. There's loads out there with high mileage and been messed with then £6k ish seems to be the norm.
