Russ at ducati mondo in Halifax has got a few sets. TBH, it'll be really hard to find proper mint ones. You maybe better off getting a set and getting them re anodised.
Thanks for the reply. That's a good idea, are they anodised from factory? I bought the bike with Gilles rear sets so haven't seen an original set in the flesh.
The same pegs as on the 998s, biposto?? nothing special? are they? not cnc billet, standard are natural diecast matte finish possibly glass bead blasted, similar finish as unpolished surfaces of top triple clamp
o Only anodized ones i have seen are billet, not original fitment? have some very nice NCR 998R sets with folding pegs and super expensive>>> look on NCR site these brackets locate on adjustable bac-plates
Original ones are anodised. NCR rear sets, been after some of them for ages. I have the frame plates and both levers. Are they the alloy ones or titanium?
very beautiful also have Ducati Factory FO/RS folding pegs (spring loaded) and black anodized brackets
i got two 998R show me the footpegs you need, my 998r pegs the same as my 996R pegs? I looked them up on google;> not anodised anodized brackets are aftermarket, NCR are currently listed at 1200 USD?? and NCR cheat on the brackets? the advertise as titanium but brackets are only plated?? to look titanium mine came direct from NCR
Hi pal When I say the rear sets were anodised, I meant the std rearsets and not the NCR ones. From new, NCR listed two prices for nearly every part they did for our bikes. One in alloy and one in titanium. The later being just about twice the price. Really hard to find NCR bits now even though they haven't been out of business long
they look like titanium, exactly like but got a damaged one aluminum inside over a 1000$ when i brought them
